Dr FA Gebremariam
Dr Fekade Admassu Gebremariam (or Dr Gebs, as many know him) is the practice leader with 27 years of work experience in university, government and private hospitals, both nationally and internationally. Having honed his skills in a large variety of academic contexts, Dr Gebs’ expertise on a wide variety of radiology procedures and methods is both current and informed.
He completed his Doctorate of Medicine way back in 1993 at Addis Ababa University and practiced medicine in Ethiopia until 1997 at Harar Ethiopia. In 1998 he moved to WITS University and served in a variety of academic positions there and at the University of the Free State since then. In this time he worked in specialist positions at Johannesburg Hospital, Pelonomi Hospital, Klerksdrop-Tsepong Hospital, and Universitas Hospital.
In 2019 Dr Gebs ended his services as Academic Head of Department at the University of Free State and Chief Specialist at Universitas Hospital in order to start this very practice, established as Dr Gebremariam & Associates.
